Tennis Instructor
Searching for a full-time seasonal tennis instructor to work in a private resort’s summer recreational program for an 8-week period beginning June 27, 2012 to August 17, 2012. Training for the position is also required beginning the week of June 18th on site in Michigan.
Ideal candidate should be college-aged and have experience teaching tennis to children ages 5-14 years old (experience in USTA Quick Start is a plus). In addition, individual should be able to work with and teach adults via weekly clinics and private lessons and be able to plan and effectively execute tennis events and tournaments. This position also requires participation in weekly activities involving field trips, 4th of July celebration, marathons, game nights and other special events planned for residing families.
Additional responsibilities include maintenance of tennis courts as well as management of counselors in training (CIT’s) who will be assigned to the tennis program for the duration of the summer.
This is a salaried position with opportunity to earn additional income via private lessons. On-site group living arrangements are provided free of charge.
